      The Human Resources Generalist provides professional advice and consultation to management regarding employee relations, equal employment opportunity, selection, policy development and enforcement, pay practices, performance management, and compliance and separations.

      Induction and on-boarding:

      • Prepare all related paperwork.
      • Conduct the HR induction process with new hires.
      • Analize and process leave and return to work.
      • Investigate and answer claims concerning unemployment.
      • Investigate and answer correspondence related to unemployment or discrimination.
      • Assist with employee queries, employee recognition distribution and creation of documents.

      General Administration

      • Assist with general administration.
      • Filing
      • Data capturing
      • File retention and audits.
      • Prepare documents and letters.
      • Responsible for leaving a good first impression with all visitors and callers.
      • Ensure the safe and secure operations, in accordance with the highest possible standards of health, safety, security and all government statutory requirements.
      • Assist with all other duties that may be assigned.
      • Functions must be executed in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner.

      Qualifications

      • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR with exposure to performance related matters
      • Positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at different levels and from different cultural/ethnic backgrounds, enjoys dealing with people daily.
      • Ability to use initiative and to work independently in a busy environment with high level attention to detail.
      • Strong organizational and time management skills.
      • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
      • Ability to inform and report management team and coordinate and manage supporting functions for the safety and quality of the operation.
      • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Office
      • Must be at least 18 years of age.
      • Must pass pre-employment and drug screen.
      • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
      • Must be comfortable lifting 25
      • Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal.
      • Must have a valid Driver's License
