Provide excellent service to employees throughout the organization as a member of the Human Resources team.

Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource functions including but not limited to employee relations, compliance and talent acquisition.

Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts.
-
Enforce company policies and procedures.
-
Assist with the process of performance review administration and personal improvement plans.
-
Stay up to date on employment laws and regulations with regular review of changes and updates.
-
Assist in ensuring the company remains compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
-
Assist in the recruitment and selection process of certain departments as assigned throughout the organization.
-
Assist in the onboarding process of new hires including compliance with background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
-
Act as a vital member of the Goodwill 101 execution team for the Macon campus.
-
Committed to the identification and training on new processes, trends and best practices and technologies to ensure continuous improvement within the HR function.

Assist the HR Team in maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, processing various paperwork and forms, and managing the HRIS.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and pivot with organizational needs and priorities.

Strong proficiency with technology including but not limited to Outlook and HRIS systems.

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Understanding and commitment to the mission of Goodwill.

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field.

At least two years of Human Resources experience.

HR Certifications a plus.

The HR Generalist will be a member of the Human Resources team assisting in various HR functions with a heavy focus on employee relations and assisting with talent acquisition. The talent portion would consist of collaboration with the Talent team and their support of the organization with recruitment and onboarding. The employee relations portion will consist of collaboration with the Employee Relations team and their support of the organization with employee-related tasks such as supporting a positive work environment, counseling, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
