What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, wellness, and other programs in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance of HR programs and systems with federal, state, and local laws
- Conduct new hire orientation and track progress through the 30/60/90 day program for new employees
- Assist in the hiring process, including composing job descriptions and evaluating candidates
- Maintain employee personnel records and ensure timely filing of documents
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a construction environment
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly preferred
- Advanced PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with Canva experience being a plus
- Availability to travel to site locations for meetings, seminars, and training events
