      This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Troubaodur Golf & Field Club set outside of Nashville, TN.

      Troubaodur Golf & Field Club is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Generalist will work closely with the site HR Director to support the on-site HR Operations including full lifecycle recruiting in support of workforce planning, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, employee recognition, training and administration of policies and procedures. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees. This role will support a campus with 300+ employees, including exempt, non-exempt, seasonal, and year-round.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Ensures all employee information is accurate, up to date and organized, per company standards and in all data systems (Workday)
      • Processes employee business process and transactions in Workday
      • Organize and manage new employee onboarding, including conducting orientation and administering all onboarding paperwork.
      • Manage and conduct employee offboarding
      • Partner with hiring managers to ensure proper resourcing of departments, assist hiring managers in writing and keeping job descriptions up to date.
      • Responsible for full life cycle recruiting, for both exempt and non-exempt roles, including job posting, phone screens, coordinating candidate interviews, and executing the offer letter, background screening and reference check processes.
      • Develops and manages informal and formal employee recognition programs within scope of employer brand and culture
      • Plans and supports employe all hands meetings and recognition events
      • Support annual performance review process and administration of annual compensation adjustments.
      • Maintains compliance with federal and local employment laws and regulations including wage and hour laws and FLSA compliance.
      • Enforces consistency with company policies and procedures
      • Provide support to HR Director with employee relations, including workers compensation administration and conducting internal investigations as necessary.
      • Responsible for managing the HR email box and responding in a timely manner to employee questions and requests related to HR functions including on-boarding, benefits, employment, and payroll. This includes verifications of employment.
      • Support bi-weekly payroll processing through timely and accurate reporting.
      • Produce monthly HR reports and dashboards and disseminate them to the Executive team.
      • Support various HR and recruiting projects as needed and requested by HR Director, GM, or Project President.

      Skills & Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration, or related field.
      • Club or hospitality industry experience preferred.
      • Minimum 2 year’s experience in Human Resources positions preferably in a guest-facing or hospitality environment. 3 to 5 years’ experience desired.
      • Experience with Workday highly desired.
      • Excellent attention to detail in all things including but not limited to people, data, metrics, service and process delivery, as well as HR and employee relations delivery.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document and report preparation.
      • A demonstrated and visible passion for service – we are in the member service business, and we seek an HR professional who is excited to serve our internal team members.
      • Recruiting / Talent Acquisition experience a plus
      • Flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

      -Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
      -Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. -Long hours may be required due to business demands.
      -Ability to work in a team environment.

      -Ability to maintain confidentiality.
      -Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
      -Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred (Spanish is a plus.
      -Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds
