      At our Sanford,Florida ,United States location, we currently are seeking talent for the following role: Human Resources Generalist.This job would be full-time, permanent.

      The position

      You will assume the following responsibilities:

      • Advises company leadership in areas related to employment policies and procedures, diversity, employee morale, local, state, and federal employment regulations.
      • Responsible for all aspects of HR functional areas including HR operations; employee relations; employment/staffing and recruitment; new employee onboarding; pre-employment testing; reference checks; I9 verification with E-Verify; compensation; benefits; training and development; and company sponsored programs.
      • Partner with the Sanford plant management team to assist in optimizing people resources, processes, and culture, and to facilitate the delivery of all needed HR services.
      • Ensure compliance and consistency in Sanford with corporate and HR related policies.
      • Interface with all levels of the organization and constantly coordinate with other members of the overall organization.
      • Serve as a mediator in employee complaints and through problem solving and investigation, resolves issues raised by employees and managers and documents the outcome.
      • Manages the training and development plans for employees on specific training to address the needs of Sanford facility.
      • Responsible for updating and submitting the monthly metrics reports, and any additional reports as requested by management.
      • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

      The ideal profile

      This position requires detailed knowledge in the following areas:

      • Human Resource practices, generalist in all areas for manufacturing, applicable government rules and regulations of labor laws and employment practices.
      • Bilingual (Spanish and English) a plus.
      • Experience with ADP payroll processing, and MS Office Programs.
      • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels, esp. plant workers, applicants, candidates on company policies and practices to address employment issues and complaints, as well as governmental authorities on company compliance issues.
      • Negotiating ability to work with employees and management on employment practices issues.
      • Ability to effectively administer employment benefits, insurance industry policies and practices, etc.
      • Knowledge of current government and other applicable laws and regulations.
      • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

      Additional Requirements:

      Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management is preferred or equivalent experience, at least 5 years’ experience in the field.
      Work Environment: This position will work both in an office environment and the production areas, warehouses, of the plant where the working conditions will be variable with temperature extremes, high noise, particulate matter, dust, etc. are common and expected.
      Safety: This position requires the use of personal protective equipment when in these areas and to be able to function normally.
