- Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and offer preparation.
- Coordinate pre-employment screenings and approvals.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
- Administer employee benefits programs including health, life, EAP, cafeteria plans, 401(k), and ESOP.
- Serve as the primary contact for benefits-related inquiries and issue resolution.
- Oversee leave of absence programs including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, personal, and workers’ compensation.
- Submit and manage workers’ compensation claims.
- Maintain and update job descriptions and performance evaluations in collaboration with department leaders.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit EEO, affirmative action, and other required government reports.
- Respond to subpoenas and maintain regulatory postings.
- Assist in updating and implementing HR policies and the employee handbook.
- Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Support organizational development initiatives and employee engagement strategies.
- Participate in the development and execution of departmental goals and continuous improvement plans.
- Maintain HRIS and ensure data accuracy.
- Process and administer bi-weekly payroll in coordination with Finance.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and billing reconciliation.
- Act as a backup to the Director of Human Resources.
- Lead or support special HR projects and audits as needed.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance in accordance with company policies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- 3+ years experience in Human Resources
- Recruitment and employee onboarding expertise
- Strong employee relations and HR compliance knowledge
- Benefits administration and open enrollment experience
- Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems
- Experience managing leave of absence programs
- Preferred HR certification (SHRM or PHR)
- Manufacturing experience
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
