- Must be a current university student enrolled in a four-year hospitality program, within the United States
- Desire a career in hospitality with specific emphasis on Human Resources operations
- Must possess critical detail-orientation
- Must be a proactive, multi-tasker able to work with a flexible and positive attitude in a fast-paced service environment
- Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Provides exceptional service with a smile to our team members in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with pre-screen candidates, schedule interviews, notify managers of pending appointments
- Assist with pre-employment checks, as well as new hire onboarding,
- Update candidate status in Applicant Tracking System
- Communicates to management any safety concerns or specific tools that are needed to enable them to do their job.
- Follows work schedule, calling out procedure, properly clocks in/out for breaks or leaving property.
- Assist with special HR-related projects

The Woodfield Boca Raton Human Resources intern position is designed to provide the selected candidate with the tools needed to accelerate their career and succeed as future leaders in hospitality with focus on Human Resources operations.. In addition to operational exposure (staff recruitment, onboarding) and training, Interns will be provided training, one-on-one coaching and mentorship, and regular individual feedback throughout the program. Our paid internship is designed for current university students enrolled in a four-year hospitality program, within the United States, seeking a career in hospitality, with specific emphasis on Human Resources operations.
Program Dates: September 2023 through May 2024
Hours per Week: 35-40 hours/week
