      Description

      Position Summary: The Human Resources Intern provides administrative support to the HR department while gaining valuable exposure to the various aspects of the HR function and duties.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Ensure an environment of excellence in the human resources department by answering employee requests and questions.
      • Develop knowledge of basic employment laws and regulations as it relates to the Human Resource function.
      • Scans and prepares documents into appropriate electronic files.
      • Assist with data analysis and data integrity across various systems.
      • Ensure accurate record keeping and update HRIS as needed.
      • Assists with recruitment and interview process, tracks status of candidates in HRIS.
      • Assists with onboarding, orientation, and training coordination for new hires.
      • Assists with basic benefit administration and questions.
      • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
      • Adhere to company safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations.
      • Perform related duties as required.

      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS and payroll systems, and related software
      • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and ability to execute.
