- HR Business Partnership – You will collaborate with our HR leaders in critical business units, such as Salty Snacking, Frozen, and Portable Wholesome Snacks, to identify and resolve HR-related challenges impacting the organization.
- Learning & Development – You will have the opportunity to learn more about what it takes to develop impactful internal and external Learning & Leadership Development capabilities across our North America business
- Talent Acquisition – You will have the opportunity to understand the process of how we recruit top talent to the organization

- Plant HR – You will gain an understanding of how HR operates at one of our dynamic manufacturing plant locations, which are central to Kellanova's business.
- Total Rewards – You will have the chance to gain exposure to how Compensation & Benefits operates, including Benchmarking, as part of your role
- Analytics & Insights – You will provide business analysis of internal and external HR trends and help develop appropriate business plans to address potential challenges and opportunities
- Collaborating for Success – Teamwork is key. You will be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to execute on business critical objectives
- 1st year MBA or Masters in Human Resources candidate with an emphasis on Human Resources/Labor Relations/Organizational Psychology
- Minimum of 3.2 GPA (cumulative)
- Available for a 3-month assignment
- Some Human Resources experience
- Anticipated graduation date cannot fall during the course of, or at the completion of your internship. We request students plan to return to campus the semester following the conclusion of their internship.
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership
- Proven track record in collaborating with others
- A passion to build strong and enduring relationships with consumers through brands
As a Human Resources Intern with Kellanova for Summer 2024, you’ll experience what’s it’s like to be a strategic HR Partner with a company that delights the world through foods and brands that matter! You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to different facets of HR through two rotational assignments that are approximately six weeks in duration that encompass: Talent Management, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion or Plant HR. You’ll be part of our success while also shaping your own future by gaining relevant training and experience. Come hungry to learn – and snack – on great brands and products.
With multiple teams to collaborate with and learn about, your opportunity for growth is endless. This internship will be located at either our World Headquarters in Chicago, IL or our offices in Battle Creek, MI.
Intern Program Details
As part of the Kellanova Internship program, you will participate in our corporate onboarding orientation and have the chance to visit our Kellanova World Headquarters in Chicago, IL and/or our offices in Battle Creek, MI during the summer. These events consist of executive exposure, former intern & executive panels, networking/social events, community activities and much more.
This paid internship requires a 3-month, full-time commitment starting Summer 2024. Relocation advising and sign-on bonus provided – and did we mention we have plenty of snacks? Some travel may be required but will depend on geography and placement. The internship concludes with a Final Presentation to functional leaders.
