Job Description

- Post/update open positions for all locations, verify rehire eligibility and process background checks for required positions.
- Send onboarding to all applicants in a timely manner (including weekends).
- Review all documents in ICIMs to ensure completion and valid documents for Work Authorization.
- Assist HR Specialist as need with completion of W4s in ICIMs, creating folders in NetDocs and uploading forms in NetDocs.
- Download all forms and IDs in folders once new hires have started employment
- Process and assist with E-Verify as needed.
- Process and enter New Hires (every Monday) and transfers with HR Specialist for the company.
- Maintain on going relationships with local recruiters/agencies.
- Field complaints of harassment from employees, lead investigations regarding these allegations, and communicate with the parties involved.
- Speak with current and former employees to address concerns regarding their employment or termination.
- Provide current and prospective employees with information regarding policies, procedures, benefits, etc.
- Assist with terminations when necessary.
- Review and ensure accuracy in Employee Incident Reports.
- Submit all Employee Incident Reports in a timely manner to our Insurance Carrier.
- Respond quickly to any requests to our carrier incl. but not limited to Wage Statements, surveillance, or any other requests.
- Ongoing follow up with restaurants on work statuses and restrictions if any.
- Communicate annual Open Enrollment in a timely manner to all eligible employees.
- Partner with insurance broker for enrollments, changes, or removals of employees.
- Collect all required enrollment forms and send to broker.
- Review, balance, and submit health insurance invoices monthly in a timely fashion
- Assist employees with any benefit-related questions.
- Manually maintain ACA files for each location and update as needed for annual filings.
- Track health care deductions for annual Health Care Values reporting.
- Be a liaison between employees and CFO when as it relates to loans and withdrawals.
- Assist employees with enrollment or specific questions as it relates to loans, paperwork and/or rollovers.
- Check weekly file in VOYA site for changes to employee contributions incl loans, payoffs, etc.
- Enter/adjust 401K changes in ADP Monday mornings prior to payroll being processed.
- Assist auditors with 401K audit.
- Work with Flanigan’s legal department on cases pertaining to employees.
- Assist with subpoena responses as needed incl. but not limited to retrieving employment records and paystubs.
- Respond to unemployment claims.
- Appeal claims decisions when necessary.
- Manage yearly renewals of various Flanigan’s subsidiaries on Sunbiz.org.
- Renew vehicle registrations for Flanigan’s vehicles.
- Inventory and order office supplies as need for the Corporate Office.
- Act as the point person for any office related issues.
- Publish monthly Office Memo with office happenings i.e. new hires, birthdays
- Partner with Marketing Director as it relates to any employee celebrations (holidays, special events, etc.).
- The minimum related experience required for this position is 5 years.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to all audiences.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, ADP and Outlook. Working knowledge of iCIMS preferable.
- Strong decision-making skills including the ability to extrapolate from written procedures and policies.
- Effective organizational skills and time management skills are necessary.
- Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Able to multitask between various duties and prioritize responsibilities.

Overview
Reporting directly to the CFO/General Counsel, the Human Resources Manager should be involved in all areas that concern employee welfare and serve as a liaison between employees and Flanigan’s if there is an issue or grievance. The duties include but are not limited to:
