What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer employee benefit programs and assist with enrollment and inquiries
- Manage employee leaves of absence and maintain accurate tracking and documentation
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring completion of new hire paperwork and orientation
- Maintain and audit employee records for compliance and accuracy
- Respond to employee inquiries and support managers with employee life-cycle events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or a High School diploma with 5 years of advanced HR experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a Senior Human Resources Generalist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, COBRA, etc.)
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in higher education, technical training, or multi-campus operations
- Familiarity with Paycom or similar HR platforms
- SPHR/PHR certification
