      Job Summary:

      The Human Resources Manager, under the direction of the Human Resources Executive, and working in conjunction with the local leadership team will provide the full complement of Human Resources (HR) expertise/leadership to include organizational development, overseeing leaves of absence, workers compensation, employee relations, training, recruitment, compliance, training, and audits. Train, supervise and support local HR Staff, including filling in when needed. Prepare and present HR metric data as needed.

      Qualifications:

      1. BA from an accredited college or university Required (Human Resources or related field), MA preferred.
      2. 3-7 years related human resources experience Required.
      3. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and HRIS software, Preferred.
      4. At least 1 year experience supervising staff, Preferred.
      5. Ability to interface and work well with all levels of management and staff, while maintaining confidentiality, Required.
      6. Clean driving record; current CA driver’s license Required, or ability to obtain within 10 days after hired.
      7. Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
      8. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
      9. Ability to communicate effectively in verbally and in writing.
      10. Culturally sensitive and able to work well under pressure.
      11. Prior experience working for a non-profit organization and/or company that contracts with or is highly regulated by the government.
