- Manage and provide support/guidance to Recruitment, Development, and Engagement teams
- Develop effective Training and Development Programs
- Evaluate and implement Recruitment and Engagement, Retention and Recognition Initiatives/Programs
- Assess the effectiveness of programs and initiatives in their purview through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and key representatives. Adjust programs as needed to consistently improve performance and when applicable participation.
- Administer employee functions and special events on a small and large scale
- Maintain knowledge of the latest industry trends related to recruitment, development, engagement, and general human resources topics
- Assist with conducting resort-wide investigations, mediation, counselling, discipline, reasonable suspicion drug testing, background check sessions and others as needed
- Partner with and assist co-manager with various HR team and company-wide meetings, initiatives, and events
- Complete cross-training and serve as a back-up in the absence of other human resource professionals
- Actively participate in resort management meetings, development programs, and committees
- Assist with special projects assigned by management

Job Summary
The Human Resources Recruitment, Development, and Engagement Manager oversees the full scope of resort-wide recruitment and engagement, and training and development, including the employees directly responsible for these functions, ensuring efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities include developing, coordinating, facilitating, and analyzing all efforts of current programs. A direct focus on accountability and compliance is a key part of this role. Additionally, they are responsible for researching and presenting interrelated initiatives for consideration for both current and new programs, fostering effective retention programs, leading investigations, and assisting with HR management functions. Must have strong business acumen, while demonstrating a proven ability to develop and lead to consistent improvement in focused areas. Must be driven, outcome-focused and have excellent communication skills to convey division and resort initiatives. They will act as MOD in absence of HR Management.
Required
Previous Human Resources management and or supervisory experience of 5+ years
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to quickly learn new domain/technical concepts
Must be able to prioritize work in a busy work environment and adhere to deadlines
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general database applications
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar professional certification
Familiar with UKG platform
Knowledge of resort operations
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Typical Schedule
Days:
Monday-Friday, weekends and holidays as needed
Hours:
9am-5pm, evenings as needed – position requires on-call status
