      Responsibilities

      Human Resources Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

      • Plans, organizes and controls all activities of the site's Human Resources Department
      • Plays a key role in business processes to include providing support and input for the site's long-term strategic plan and managing employee crewing and resource planning across the site
      • Directs, guides, and coordinates all Human Resource Programs, Policies and Practices
      • Assists in ensuring a safe work environment for all employees
      • Develops department goals, objectives and systems in order to meet business objectives and ensure governmental compliance
      • Leads corporate Human Resources initiatives such as the organizational health process, succession planning, leadership training, performance review and talent review
      • Creates an effective employee and labor relations environment that enables the site to attain its business objectives
      • Provides advice and coaching to Senior Leaders, managers and employees on all matters related to employee and organizational development
      • Provides generalist and strategic human resources leadership at their respective plant
      • Deals with employee relations issues and work with employees and union leaders on resolutions
      • Payroll over-site for facility

      This is an on-site position. This is a safety sensitive position.

      Qualifications

      Qualified candidates for the Human Resources Manager position should possess the following:

      • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university; Master's degree in Human Resources or Business related field preferred
      • 5 plus years of Human Resources experience with some managerial experience
      • Labor relations experience
      • Management development expertise
      • Knowledge of employment and labor laws
      • Microsoft Office suite
      • UKG Dimensions and/or Kronos Workforce Central experience preferred
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills
