- Culture Development:
- Collaborate with leadership to foster a culture centered on customer service, quality, integrity, and accountability.
- Engage and empower employees to provide superior client treatment in a safe and compassionate environment.
- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Manage recruitment for all staff levels, including exempt, nonexempt, and temporary workers.
- Write job postings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and perform background checks.
- Extend job offers and conduct new employee orientations.
- HR Policies and Procedures:
- Administer HR plans and procedures for personnel within designated areas.
- Assist in developing and implementing personnel policies.
- Performance Management:
- Implement performance management plans, including 90-day and annual reviews.
- HR Operations Setup:
- Establish HR operations for new locations or during acquisitions.
- Benefits Coordination:
- Work with Benefits Administrator to communicate benefit information accurately and timely.
- Training Compliance:
- Ensure all training requirements are met for employees.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and collaborate with management to resolve issues.
- Coach managers on handling employee matters and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Record Keeping and Compliance:
- Maintain records and reports in compliance with standards.
- Complete reporting requirements accurately and on time.
- HRIS Management:
- Enter and update employee information in HRIS, documenting changes as needed.
- Leave Administration:
- Administer workers' compensation, FMLA, and other leave promptly.
- Wage and Hour Compliance:
- Review and approve timekeeping records before payroll.
- Participate in leadership and departmental meetings.
- Collaborate on initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Seven or more years of HR generalist experience.
- PHR or HR Certification preferred.
- Experience in healthcare or residential treatment preferred.
- Expertise in employment law, Microsoft Office, and regulatory requirements.
