      Position Summery:

      The HR Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the International (EMEA & APAC) organization’s human resource function by ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. This position is responsible for managing essential HR processes including on- and offboarding documentation, first point of contact for Payroll and HRIS team, benefits, compliance with labor laws and employee relations. The HR Officer facilitates an engaging and supportive workplace culture while implementing policies that align with organizational goals.

      In addition to handling day-to-day administrative tasks, the HR Officer leverages HR technology and automation to streamline administrative tasks and enhance data-driven decision making as well as supporting strategic HR initiatives such as talent development, employee engagement, and workforce planning. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.

      What will you be doing?

      • Provide guidance to employees on HR-related policies, programs and procedures, working under the direction of the Sr. Director HR and in partnership with the Manager HR to ensure consistency and compliance.
      • Manage the preparation, administration, and oversight of employment contracts and new hire documentation, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
      • Handle sensitive and non-routine HR matters, maintaining confidentiality while effectively communicating policies and procedures.
      • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR related inquiries, including pensions, leave management (MyLeaveDays), occupational health (Arbo), absence policies and Health & Safety regulations.
      • Maintain and organize personnel files to ensure accessibility, security and compliance with data protection standards. Support the planning and execution of employee wellness programs to promote a positive and healthy workplace culture.
      • Implement strategies to enhance workforce readiness, employee retention, and engagement through proactive HR initiatives.
      • Facilitate a seamless and impactful onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a strong foundation for their success within the organization.
      • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service by ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests from employees.
      • Prepare and submit monthly payroll inputs (HR mutations) for processing, ensuring accuracy in compensation related matters.
      • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding HR and financial information, including salaries, employee relations issues, internal department updates, and official documentation.
      • Oversee and coordinate HR related systems to optimize efficiency and ensure smooth operation of administrative processes.
      • Utilize HR technology and automation to streamline repetitive tasks, enhance data accuracy, and improve operational efficiency.
      • Generate and analyze HR data reports to provide insights into workforce trends, employee performance, and engagement, supporting data driven decision making within the HR team.

      A Little About Yourself

      • Education & Experience
        • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
        • 2-4 years of experience in HR functions, or an equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience.
      • Legal & Compliance Expertise
        • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and international compliance requirements.
      • Communication & Relationship Management
        • Fluent in Dutch and English with excellent oral and written communication skill.
        • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, fostering collaboration across all levels of the organization.
      • Technical & Analytical Proficiency
        • Advanced computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, with experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and HR related digital tools.
        • Ability to analyze HR data and generate reports, supporting data-driven decision making.
      • Professional Integrity & Confidentiality
        • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.
      • Work Environment & Adaptability
        • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing and organizing work to meet deadlines.
