Utilize Workday to enter/pull/maintain information related to job bids/transfers, hiring, terminations, reporting
Maintain WD roster with current labor state and other relevant information
Assists others and generates reports from Workday and Workforce as needed
Understands job bid system and manages transfers, promotions, etc.
Works closely with Talent Acquisition and coordinates all plant hourly interviews with the Hiring Team
Works with new associates to ensure a smooth transition to the plant. This includes scheduling associates for orientation, drug screens, completing onboarding paperwork, create badges, issue parking decals, etc.
Facilitate HR Cornerstone for plant-specific orientation
Conduct meetings with associates to increase understanding and awareness of benefits and/or programs, if needed
Provides translation for associates in multiple settings including investigations, meetings, information sharing/gathering, recognition, etc.
Assist with HR-related questions including but not limited to policy, benefits, payroll, etc.
Assists with Exit Interviews if needed
Maintain all posting areas in accordance with Department of Labor and Human Resource Compliance guidelines
Understands Shaw’s Records and Retention policies and ensures HR files are managed appropriately
Coordinates associate events such as Pride Day, Veteran’s Day, volunteer events, etc.
Assist with recognition planning and events
Order needed office supplies
Maintain purchase cards
Manage accounts including but not limited to uniforms, etc.
Handles weekly reporting of worker’s compensation transitional duty information to Gallagher Bassett
Other tasks as needed or assigned by supervisor
High School diploma or GED required
Must be proficient with various computer programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Google Docs and spreadsheets
Must be flexible with schedule with the ability to work on all three shifts as needed
Language preferences, English and Spanish preferred
HR experience preferred
