- Facilitates the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring completion of pre-employment requirements, verification of necessary licensure, and accurate data entry.
- Oversees the Tuition Reimbursement and CEU education programs.
- New Hire Orientation Coordination
- Assist with other duties as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Human Resources experience preferred
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Federal and State wage and hour laws
- PeopleSoft and Taleo experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PHR/SPHR certification a plus.

Position Summary
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Orange Coast Medical Center. The employee shall support Orange Coast Medical Center’s strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement/patient safety activities.
Under the direction of the Manager of Human Resources and the Vice President of Human Resources, the Human Resources Representative provides assistance and guidance to hospital employees, former employees and prospective employees. The Human Resources Representative must be knowledgeable in department processes and human resources policies to ensure compliance that effect employees in the workplace. Primary responsibilities for this position include PeopleSoft data entry, on-boarding of new hires and facilitation of new employee orientation, personnel file integrity, Human Resources department support via, phones and visitors, and other duties as assigned. This position must maintain a level of confidentiality at all times.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
