      The HR Specialist for the RAY Engineering Human Resources Vice President will be responsible for a variety of activities in support of the Engineering Human Resources organization. The individual will solve complex problems and assists in recommending, developing, and implementing new processes and analysis. The role will assist in leading staff in gathering, verifying and processing documentation and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks.

      What You Will Do

      • Oversight and delivery of projects on behalf of the HR Vice President. The duration and complexity of these projects will vary and include heavy use of Excel, PowerPoint, and other online systems.
      • The Specialist will be the primary HR POC for the Engineering HR Staff and will frequently support all other Leadership Team members across the HR Functions.
      • Provide support as needed to the Assistant to the CHRO, the HR CoS, and HR for HR.
      • Assists HR functions staff with preparation of documents, including collecting, relaying, and tracking documents through their approval routing; managing meetings for the Engineering HR team and all other Functional HR teams.
      • Working independently on special assignments, managing schedules, processing and handling of confidential documents and other administrative duties, including processing travel and expense reports and coordination of calendar meetings for members of the Functional HRLT.

      Qualifications You Must Have

      • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
      • Experience with Excel (e.g. generating pivot tables, completing lookups) and PowerPoint.
      • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

      Qualifications We Prefer

      • The knowledge of or interest in learning other, necessary, online data systems to capture and analyze data.
      • Problem-solving and partnership with other HR administrative staff and Engineering administrative staff
      • An attention to detail combined with patience and interest in helping others when they contact Human Resources for assistance and support.
      • Prior experience in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
      • Data analytics experience; Advanced Rshare knowledge; Prior experience with Human Resources.
      • Ability to manage a range of different tasks that are simultaneously open.

      The salary range for this role is 52,000 USD - 127,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

      This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
