      Role Overview
      This position provides confidential support to the Coordinator of Human Resources for ESP staff. The incumbent must know system-wide and human resources related policies, procedures, and practices in addition to having well-developed
      administrative assistant skills.

      Minimum Requirements
      High School Diploma.
      Three (3) years of successful secretarial/administrative assistant experience.
      Demonstrated advanced skills in a variety of software and electronic communication tools, including MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Apps.
      Proficient word-processing skills with the ability to produce grammatically correct documents and correspondence.
      Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
      Skill to organize, plan, and execute quality work in a fast-paced office environment.
      Demonstrated positive human relation skills, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
      Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
      Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

      Preferred Qualifications
      A.A. degree in a related field.
      Professional certifications.
      Successful experience in a Human Resources environment.
      Experience using organizational software programs (Tyler Munis (HRIS), Applicant Tracking).

      Role Responsibilities
      Maintains a high level of confidentiality in conducting office business/assignments.
      Provide administrative support to the HR Coordinator for Educational Support Personnel (ESP).
      Maintains the ESP job postings process in hard copy and electronically.
      Process and track a variety of human resource programs and procedures for all ESP applicants and employees (ESP).
      Process tuition reimbursement requests for ESP.
      Address ESP policy and practice inquiries (assessing, troubleshooting, and responding).
      Utilize HRIS platform to compile reports.
      Prepare letters, memos, reports, forms, spreadsheets, etc.
      Answers inquiries by telephone or in-person in a courteous manner.
      Communicates clearly and concisely in written and oral form.
      Utilizes working knowledge of various types of office technologies (fax, computer, telephone system, etc.) and software programs (MS Office, Tyler Munis, Frontline).
      Demonstrate courteous and professional demeanor to all stakeholders of Washington County Public Schools in all forms of interactions.
      Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
      Perform other duties as assigned.

      Ability to move, raise, lower, and carry objects up to 20 lbs. irregularly.
      Must be able to bend, crouch, stoop, reach, and climb.
      Will be subjected to loud noises, interactions, and traffic flow in a highly populated office environment.
      Ability to work overtime if needed.
