Work with the Human Resource Coordinators (HRC’s) to assist with the onboarding/offboarding of employees within Workday
Assist and contribute to the implementation of new initiatives and projects across HR and compile information into reports using Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Provide HR support to employees and managers, responding to inquiries regarding human resources policies, procedures, programs, general employee relations, and redirecting as needed to appropriate team members.
Manage and create all employment related documentation, ensure corresponding updates are accurately updated within Workday
Facilitate the collection or and ensure all new hire information is accurate and uploaded to Workday
Support the HRIS Team with project research and implementation processes

Working towards a degree in Human Resources/Business or related discipline.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages.
Must be able to allocate time effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and change. Comfortable following direction but also contributing to the direction.
Must have proficient knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word; previous experience with an applicant tracking system and HRIS (specifically Workday) is an asset
Must be extremely proactive and work well in a collaborative environment, with the ability to take guidance but then move projects forward independently.

Previous experience working within a Human Resources/Recruitment environment is an asset

Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of experiences including our Corporate Speaker Series, Fireside Chats, Volunteer opportunities and Networking events.
Eligibility Note: To qualify for a student (Co-op/Internship) opportunity, students must be enrolled in their academic studies at a post-secondary institution (university/college) and must be returning to school after completion of their work term with QuadReal. If you are a student registered in an official co-op program at your post-secondary institution and completion of a final work term is a mandatory component for you to graduate, you are eligible to apply with the understanding that you will leave QuadReal at the end of your work term or have the possibility to be considered for full-time opportunities.
Based in Vancouver, the Co-op/Intern, Human Resources, will report to the Director, Human Resources, and support QuadReal’s Human Resources Team. In this role, you will gain a foundational understanding of the various fields of human resources including HR Operations, Talent Acquisition and HRIS (Workday). You will sit primarily in the HR Operations team, where you will build collaborative and supportive relationships with all HR team members and the client groups you support.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, articulate communicator who possesses the ability to multi-task and has a genuine enthusiasm for building relationships, getting to know people, and supporting them as they develop their careers.

The expected hourly range for this role is $22 to $25.
