What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and monitor construction requirements, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications
- Prepare, update, and manage construction schedules using Microsoft Project
- Report issues and observations to Contractor and Government leadership
- Exercise technical judgment to address construction-related problems and recommend solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and government representatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of technical experience in construction management for complex projects over $50 million
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Professional Engineer (PE)
- Proven experience in scope definition, task development, and cost analysis
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in government contracting and compliance
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in dynamic environments
- Willingness to travel to any Port of Entry within the client's span of control
