      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee full lifecycle acquisition activities for complex contracts, including pre-award, award, and post-award support
      - Conduct market research and prepare pre-award notices and small business capability analyses
      - Develop acquisition strategies, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and recommendations for solicitation approaches
      - Prepare solicitations and ensure compliance with federal regulations such as FAR and VAAR
      - Monitor contractor performance and resolve performance issues while mentoring junior acquisition staff

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Accountancy
      - Minimum of 6 years of experience in conducting comprehensive acquisition support activities
      - Specialized experience in developing and administering construction or A-E solicitations and contracts
      - Must have stayed/worked in the US within the last 10 years to pass the VA background investigation
      - Fluency in English, both written and verbal

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - FAC-C or DAWIA Level III in Contracting Certification
      - Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor acquisition staff
      - Experience with complex service solicitations and contracts, particularly in healthcare
