What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule patient imaging tests efficiently and in a timely manner
- Serve as a liaison between patients and medical staff, answering incoming calls and directing them appropriately
- Confirm, cancel, and/or reschedule patient appointments as necessary
- Document pertinent information related to imaging testing and authorizations in patient accounts
- Obtain previous studies for comparison, including reports and disk images
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of one year of imaging scheduling experience in a medical setting
- Strong understanding of patient confidentiality to protect patient information
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical personnel
- Ability to monitor and complete incoming orders throughout the workday
