      Description

      Position Overview:

      The Income Audit Manager reviews the audits of the daily property revenue figures and supporting accounting records and documents. He/she manages the daily operations of the Income Audit department and its personnel. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of Mount Airy Casino Resort’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

      Essential Job Functions:

      • Reviews casino generated financial records and reports any deviations from established PGCB regulatory policies and procedures.
      • Reviews and approves property revenue reports on a daily and monthly basis.
      • Journalizes all gaming and non-gaming revenue transactions.
      • Reconciles revenue and any related General Ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
      • Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with the Accounting and Internal Control Submissions.
      • Schedules and reviews the duties and assignments of the Income Audit Staff.
      • Evaluates employee performance and provides feedback.
      • Adheres to regulatory, departmental and PGCB policies in an ethical manner.
      • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality regarding Mount Airy Casino Resort’s financial and business activities.
      • Provides exceptional service to all patrons and internal customers and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
      • Maintain a professional work environment.
      • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departments, and company policies.
      • Other duties as assigned.
      • Attend all necessary training meetings.
      • Oversees and assists in the day to day operations of title 31
      • Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.

      Qualifications


      Essential Requirements :

      • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
      • Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
      • Minimum of two years previous experience in the casino income auditing field preferred.
      • Basic knowledge of casino management system computer operation preferred.
      • Broad knowledge of the internal and accounting control procedures of casino operation preferred.
      • Minimum 1 to 2 years experience as a supervisor in related field required.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
      • Working knowledge of other commonly used software is preferred.
      • Must be able to be approved and maintain a valid PGCB license.

      Other Skills/Abilities:

      • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
      • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
