What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify individual member needs and document interventions based on relationships and assessments
- Provide support to members through various settings and assist with support groups as needed
- Contribute to case management meetings to ensure a team approach for each member
- Complete documentation for member contacts, cancellations, and care plans according to organizational policies
- Communicate professionally with members, families, physicians, and community agencies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist or Peer Support Specialist
- Successful participation in a recovery program
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability for local travel within Indiana, approximately 25% - 50% of the time

- Experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder support
- Familiarity with case management and documentation practices
- Previous involvement in community outreach or professional organizations
- Knowledge of local resources for individuals facing substance use challenges
