Job Description

- Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.
- Supervises Flight Attendants based in assigned domicile.
- Provides counsel and guidance concerning Flight Attendant matters and participates in Inflight management on-call rotation to assist with questions and issues outside of normal business hours.
- Acts as a liaison with local regulatory agencies such as the Airport Authority, Transportation Security Administration, and local law enforcement.
- Acts as primary contact for partner airline regarding Inflight issues in assigned domicile.
- Maintains records and paperwork for Flight Attendants including IDs, parking, daily operations and worker’s compensation. Manages leaves of absence.
- Monitors the day-to-day operations and performance of the Flight Attendant group.
- Liaises with local union officials and committees.
- Administers the collective bargaining agreement, attendance/reliability program, and company policies.
- Participates as a Go-team member as described in Air Wisconsin’s Emergency Procedure Manual.
- Participates in event review calls, to ensure proper handling and follow up of the incident.
- Responsible for domicile budget and monthly variance reporting.
- Assists with the recruitment and selection of new Flight Attendants.
- Works closely with caterers to address onboard product/commissary needs.
- Maintains proficiency as a line Flight Attendant and currency as an IOE Instructor (Initial Operation Experience).
- Actively participates in the Company’s aircraft cleaning initiative through task team involvement and aircraft audit and reporting.
- Coaching and disciplinary action when applicable on attendance, delays, reliability, violation of company policies, etc.
- Participation of daily operation calls.
- Participation of daily and weekly calls with partner airline.
- Schedule, train, and assign tasks for Ambassadors.
- Host celebrations for milestone anniversaries, holidays, and Flight Attendant Appreciation Day.
- Complete signatory training and maintain an active SIDA badge and signatory status.
- Communicate with the flight attendant group of the assigned domicile and be available for assistance via email, texting, phone calls, and in person.
- Performs observation flights on flight attendants as needed.
- Judgement and initiative necessary in setting priorities, solving problems with catering vendors, determining qualified candidates for vacancies, and coordinating subordinates’ work activities.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
- 1-2 years of Flight Attendant experience; must be currently, or able to become Inflight qualified.
