What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the full application development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-deployment support
- Develop custom data-driven tools and dashboards for visualization and analytics
- Monitor the health and performance of production systems, ensuring high availability
- Provide training and documentation for end users to facilitate effective system use
- Act as a liaison among stakeholders, ensuring IT solutions align with agency objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Six (6) years of experience in information technology operations, programming, or related support areas
- One (1) year of professional IT work experience in system installation, analysis, design, or support
- Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience (15 semester hours equals ½ year of experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint and Power Platform
- Familiarity with GIS platforms, especially ESRI tools like ArcGIS Pro
- Knowledge of Azure administration and cloud infrastructure optimization
- Proficiency in Python scripting and AI integration technologies
- Experience in leading IT project planning and execution
