      Job summary

      London's Air Ambulance (LAA) is a well-established pre-hospital service which operates from and in partnership with Barts Health Trust. Barts Health Trust is the busiest major trauma centre in London with an established trauma service and research programme in trauma sciences. LAA provides a 24-hour trauma service by helicopter and fast response car and works closely with London Ambulance Service to provide high quality trauma care before arrival in the London Major Trauma Centres.

      Aim of the roleThe aim of the role is to deliver elements of service innovation and development in the form of focussed and specific projects with key deliverables and outputs. The projects may include any or all elements of high-quality training, audit, research, quality improvement and governance.

      Main duties of the job

      o There are several posts of one-year duration which may be renewed or concluded at the end of the term at the discretion of the needs of the service and by mutual consent.? These posts do not have a front-line focus and do not include clinical shifts, or observer shifts with the clinical teams.? The following is a summary of the roles and intended primary projects. It is acknowledged that further projects and deliverables may evolve over the period of the post if the primary projects are reasonably concluded and capacity exists.

      • Medical qualification (including, but not limited to medical, nursing or paramedic degree, bachelor's or master's degree of relevance)
      • GCP for clinical trials
