What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new educational technologies and innovative pedagogical models
- Lead and manage pilot programs for new technologies and instructional strategies
- Consult with faculty and academic departments on innovative teaching strategies
- Design and deliver professional development programs and workshops for faculty and staff
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective integration of instructional technology solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in education, learning design, or a related innovation role
- Demonstrated experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Canvas
- Proven ability to conduct technology training and professional development for adult learners
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in project management, leading technical or educational projects
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and AI tools
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Creative problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
