      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Utilize computerized encoder and other systems for the coding process
      - Apply coding processes across facilities in accordance with regulatory guidelines
      - Maintain quality targets and production standards as per organizational policies
      - Author and identify physician query opportunities to clarify documentation
      - Monitor and report discrepancies to the coding manager

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or GED equivalent
      - Formal education in Health Information Management or a related field
      - One of the following credentials: Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
      - Minimum of three (3) years performing inpatient coding in an acute hospital setting
      - Proficiency in coding software and Health Information Management systems

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Acute hospital coding role/inpatient coding experience
      - Knowledge of coding audits processes, denials management, and documentation improvement
      - Educated in medical terminology, disease processes, anatomy and physiology, and surgical procedure coding
