      The Role:

      • Analysis of quantitative and qualitative data sources to illuminate consumer trends for the Landsec Retail business
      • Generate actionable insight to inform marketing, leasing, asset management, operational, and investment decisions
      • Highlight current trends in consumer behaviour and reach an informed opinion about future trends
      • Communicate these insights succinctly and effectively to Landsec stakeholders and external partners
      • Salary: Starting from £40,000 per annum

      The Team:

      We are a close-knit team of 3 people who are passionate about the work we do. We are responsible for translating data on consumers and the retail market into actionable insight for Landsec stakeholders.

      Key projects in the next 12 months will be: delivering an Insight Strategy focussed on driving consumer awareness and loyalty, presenting on market trends to the business and growing our capabilities in qualitative research.

      What you will be responsible for:

      Data Analysis

      • Use both qualitative and quantitative research methods to generate actionable insight
      • Query data robustness and methodology
      • Run data analysis that covers retail market overview, consumer behaviour, brand impact, location and catchment opportunity, competitor overview
      • Understand, manage and deploy existing data sources and tools

      Translating research into actionable insight

      • Build relationships with wider Consumer, Asset Management, Brand Leasing, Development, Comms and Investment teams to understand their needs and questions
      • Synthesise large volumes of data into digestible, actionable insights for stakeholders
      • Communicate these insights effectively through written reports, contributions to wider presentation decks and leading presentations

      Managing insight projects

      • Prioritise competing tasks, set appropriate deadlines and communicate progress with stakeholders
      • Manage external agency relationships (e.g., CACI, Local Data Company) to deliver the required insight to the right quality and timeframe, and within budget
      • Build strong external relationships with industry partners such as property agents, JV partners, retailers and brand partners and industry bodies to drive best practice in Landsec Insight programme

      Your skills, experience and qualifications:

      Essential criteria

      • Quantitative and Qualitative data experience
      • Experience in writing survey's or having a MRS qualification (Market Research Society)
      • Experience of consumer research development and execution
      • Analytical approach and understanding
      • Team player
      • Effective communication and presentation skills
      • Methodical with attention to detail
