What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Promote the full range of asset management capabilities to institutional prospects and clients
- Acquire new business and service existing accounts within an assigned geographic territory
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, client service staff, and marketing teams to drive revenue growth
- Supervise the day-to-day work of junior employees as needed
- Demonstrate strong performance results with complex accounts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Typically a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10 or more years of experience in portfolio management, sales, marketing, or relationship management with institutional clients
- Must be FINRA Series 6 or 7, 63 licensed or complete testing within 90 days of start date
- In-depth knowledge of the firm’s products and services
- Strong relationship management and business development skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification
- Capital Markets knowledge and experience
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage customer relationships
