      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Obtain authorizations for elective infusions and injections to ensure financial clearance for patients
      - Utilize EPIC system to manage work queues and prioritize tasks effectively
      - Communicate outpatient benefit information to the Patient Financial Services team
      - Verify authorization requirements through insurance portals and direct communication with insurers
      - Review medical record documentation to address clinical questions during the authorization process

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school graduate or equivalent with 2 years of experience in a medical environment, or an Associate's degree with 1 year of experience
      - Basic knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding
      - Understanding of authorization processes and third-party payor practices
      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      - Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under deadlines

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 3 years of experience with knowledge in medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT codes
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
      - Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette
      - Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute
      - Basic knowledge of business math and time-of-service collection procedures
