      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial, insurance, and demographic information for patients
      - Conduct pre-admissions and admissions processes for outpatient services
      - Investigate and review insurance information to ensure accounts are secure before discharge
      - Obtain and confirm benefit, co-pay, deductible, and co-insurance information
      - Resolve problem accounts by determining primary insurance and coordination of benefits (COB) information

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or GED equivalent
      - Two (2) years of experience in healthcare insurance eligibility, verification, or billing in a hospital/medical office setting
      - Knowledge of various insurance coverage, COB rules of priority, and processing procedures
      - Experience with insurance payor systems
      - Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - EPIC training or experience
      - ICD-10 medical terminology experience
      - Ability to adjust to new technologies as introduced
