  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Coordinate financial clearance activities by navigating referral, precertification, and authorization requirements
  - Monitor accounts routed to precertification and prior authorization work queues, ensuring compliance with management guidelines
  - Act as a subject matter expert in navigating the healthcare and payer environments for obtaining necessary permissions
  - Collaborate with patients, providers, and departments to gather required information and payer permissions
  - Keep current on CMS requirements and guidelines to ensure adherence
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
  - 4-5 years of medical billing, denials, coding, and/or inpatient admitting experience
  - General knowledge of healthcare terminology and CPT-ICD10 codes
  - Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work in a complex environment
  - Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Case manager and/or coding certification desirable
  - Complete understanding of insurance processes preferred
  - Knowledge of and experience within Epic systems preferred
  - Ability to exhibit good decision-making and judgment capabilities
  - Attention to detail and comfort with ambiguity
