What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Accurately enter referrals and ensure documentation is routed for completion
- Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities and collect payments
- Review medical records for compliance standards prior to service delivery
- Supervise team members and lead training sessions for staff development
- Work with insurance verification teams to provide accurate patient information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in healthcare administration or customer service
- Experience in a healthcare organization that bills insurance or provides medical supplies
- Ability to navigate multiple online EMR systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field
- Additional experience in healthcare customer service or management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare software applications
- Ability to handle complex customer issues and regulatory compliance questions
