What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain and manage school records in an organized manner
- Coordinate with registrars for missing documents and ensure compliance with state requirements
- Communicate sensitively with parents while maintaining confidentiality
- Conduct regular file reviews and prepare for monthly audits
- Ensure compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of classroom experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Special Education Certification
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to clear a required background check
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a home-based work environment
- Familiarity with compliance and record-keeping in educational settings
