Job Description
- Req#: 1302278
- Read blueprints and manuals.
- Maintain/repair motor controls, programmable controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Repair and/or replace electrical fixtures, motors, stoves, dryers, washers, medical equipment.
- Check and replace faulty circuits or breakers, and low voltage electrical equipment
- Repair plaster and drywall.
- Maintain plumbing system and fixtures
- Required: General experience in equipment maintenance; demonstrated skills in using proper basic hand tools and materials
- Required: Able to assess physical plant problems and respond to physical plant problems.
- Preferred: Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing, copper, galvanized, and plastic pipe
- Preferred: Basic knowledge of HVAC
- Preferred: Working knowledge of building codes, fire regulations, and emergency plant operations.
- Required: Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
- Preferred: Industry experience or similar general maintenance and repair background
