About the team you are joining

IATA is committed to achieving net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050. In our Sustainability & Economics (S&E) Division, we take a holistic approach to this challenge and seek to combine subject matter expertise with a cross-functional approach to leverage all knowledge within the team. Net zero carbon for aviation requires a no-stones-unturned approach, and IATA must research all options and opportunities to help bring to fruition the suite of solutions from now to 2050 and beyond. The ramp-up of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is the key driver for our industry to be able to decarbonize, and we need to encourage the maturity of all other solutions, including through enabling regulatory environments for airlines.

You will join the Knowledge & Engagement team and report to the Head of the team. This four-member team is dedicated to improving the way the S&E Division works, managing key Division engagement platforms -- foremost among them FlyAware, IATA’s online sustainability & Economics knowledge center -- and ensuring the finalization and distribution of the S&E Division’s publications and other knowledge products. In your role, you will support the Knowledge & Engagement team across its main responsibilities, with particular attention to our FlyAware platform.

Support the finalization and dissemination of S&E publications and other knowledge products

Contribute to the preparation of web-based written or visual content and presentations

Support the Knowledge & Engagement team in the preparation of material (e-mails, Viva Engage posts etc.) for effective dissemination of S&E information and publications across IATA

Help the Knowledge & Engagement team provide support to other S&E Division teams and subject matter experts

Help keep current the ‘’Sustainability and Economics’’ Teams channels with relevant and updated materials
