      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collaborate with the Policy Research Team to research, write, and analyze data supporting advocacy strategies
      - Assist in drafting research memos, fact sheets, and other written materials
      - Uphold JEDI principles by amplifying the voices of underserved communities in policy research
      - Support ongoing policy research needs in collaboration with team members
      - Engage in impactful policy research aligned with organizational priorities

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Currently enrolled in an accredited graduate or law school program
      - Strong academic background
      - Excellent research and writing skills
      - Commitment to civil rights and social justice issues

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Demonstrated passion for advancing civil rights and social justice issues
      - Interest in federal, state, and local government advocacy
      - Experience in policy research or advocacy work
