      What the job looks like
      Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

      • Conduct regular and ad hoc audits and assessments at the HQ in Aachen and in all affiliates worldwide
      • Conduct operational, financial and compliance audits in all business areas
      • Independently execute audits, if required also leading audit engagement teams, and follow-up on action items with stakeholders
      • Coordinate and lead audit engagements outsourced to external auditors
      • Support the Head of Internal Audit in developing the annual internal audit plan
      • Develop and update documents and guidance as part of the Global Internal Audit Framework, including the risk & controls matrix
      • Conduct data analysis for audit engagements and for monitoring, prepare and enhance reporting of internal audit results
      • Lead and participate in (cross-functional) projects conducted or supported by Internal Audit incl. process automation for internal audit processes


      What you'll bring to the table
      To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

      • University degree in Business, Finance or equivalent
      • Professional certification in audit or fraud examination (CIA, CFE, ACCA) is a plus
      • Extensive experience in auditing (3+ years)
      • Experience in leading teams for audit engagements or projects
      • Excellence in data and insights and handling various applications including SAP and different CRM systems
      • Excellent documentation, communication and IT skills
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, guiding other team members
      • Self-motivation and hands-on mentality
      • Experience in cross-cultural international work environment
      • Attention to detail
      • Fluency in English and Spanish, knowledge of additional languages (German) is an advantage
      • Willingness to travel up to 30%
