      POSITION SUMMARY
      Marathon TS is looking for an Internal Recruiter/ HR Generalist for a client. The Internal Recruiter / HR Generalist is responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting while also supporting key human resources functions including onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations. This role serves as a knowledgeable and approachable point of contact for employees and hiring managers, helping to attract top talent and foster a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace culture.
      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
      Recruitment (Primary Focus)
      • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions, from intake meeting through offer acceptance.
      • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and candidate profiles.
      • Write, post, and maintain job announcements across appropriate platforms and job boards.
      • Source and attract candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
      • Review resumes and conduct phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
      • Coordinate and facilitate structured interviews using behavioral interviewing techniques.
      • Manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
      • Track and report on recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and pipeline activity.
      • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
      Hiring & Compliance
      • Adhere to legal interview guidelines and ensure prohibited interview questions are avoided across all hiring activity.
      • Complete and maintain I-9 verification and right-to-work documentation for all new hires in compliance with federal requirements.
      • Coordinate background checks and pre-employment screening in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
      • Prepare and issue offer letters in coordination with HR and hiring managers.
      Onboarding & New Hire Support
      • Process new hire paperwork and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
      • Schedule and coordinate new employee orientation sessions and onboarding activities.
      • Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires during their first weeks, providing guidance and answering questions.
      • Collaborate with HR, IT, facilities, and hiring managers to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
      • Support offboarding processes, including scheduling exit activities and coordinating with relevant departments.
      HR Administration & Employee Relations Support
      • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS and ATS.
      • Handle all personnel information with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
      • Serve as a resource for employees with questions about HR policies, procedures, and general benefits enrollment guidance, escalating to the appropriate team member when needed.
      • Support employee relations matters by listening to employee concerns, documenting interactions, and escalating issues to HR leadership as appropriate.
      • Assist in the coordination and promotion of employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
      • Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR procedures and process documentation.


      QUALIFICATIONS
      Required
      • 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a combined HR/recruiting role.
      • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruiting from intake to offer.
      • Proficiency with at least one ATS platform and HRIS system.
      • Working knowledge of employment law, I-9 requirements, and EEO compliance.
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
      • High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
      • Commitment to confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
      Preferred
      • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
      • PHR, SHRM-CP, or other relevant HR certification.
      • Experience supporting onboarding and employee relations functions.
      • Familiarity with behavioral interviewing frameworks (e.g., STAR method).
