What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the end-to-end creation of IB MYP & DP mathematics textbook content, managing project timelines and milestones
- Ensure all lessons and practice questions align with IB curriculum requirements
- Conduct thorough reviews of content, providing feedback to authors for improvement
- Facilitate collaboration and communication among content developers, educators, and editors
- Continuously refine content development processes and integrate AI tools to enhance efficiency and quality
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Extensive knowledge of the IB mathematics curriculum for MYP and DP, with a few years of teaching or curriculum development experience
- Strong background in educational content creation, including writing or editing math textbook materials
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience leading educational projects
- High comfort with technology and willingness to use modern AI tools to enhance productivity
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback and work collaboratively in a remote team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in educational publishing or as an editor for math educational content
- Insight into assessment and exam writing, particularly for IB or other curricula
- Basic experience with programming or data tools, which could be useful for content analysis
