What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Global Perennial Grain Research Network, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among members
- Develop and moderate the network's online communications platform to foster engagement and knowledge exchange
- Oversee and maintain the central database of global perennial grain researchers and institutions, ensuring data quality and compliance
- Assist with planning and logistics for network events, webinars, and meetings to enhance collaboration and visibility
- Prepare periodic summaries of participation trends and engagement data to inform platform improvements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, environmental science, international development, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project, network, or community coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing digital tools such as Slack, Airtable, and Google Workspace
- Knowledge of agricultural research, sustainability science, or global research networks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in online community management or knowledge-sharing platforms
- Familiarity with data management practices and CRM/database tools
- Understanding of perennial agriculture and the employer's mission
