The goal of Degroof Petercam is to manage personal or professional assets of clients, protect them against unforeseen events, finance their projects, diversify their investments and give them a social dimension.

  Context

  The Private Banking Client Center team is looking for a general support intern from January 2024 onwards, for a period of 3 to 6 months. The team is divided in three sub-teams: commercial services, digital care, and operational excellence.

  Your Position

  Depending on business priorities and ongoing projects, you will support our Private Banking Client Center with the following activities:

  Commercial Services
  • Order execution: buy and sell orders;
  • Cash transfers;
  • Regulatory follow-up: Mifid documentation & AML questionnaire;
  • Creation of mail templates;
  • Update of our internal Wallstream (Intranet) page;
  • Client data analysis via dedicated programs;
  • Data cleaning in our systems;

  Digital Care
  • Help clients with connection issues on their digital portal My Degroof Petercam;
  • Support in the roll out of digital projects;
  • Update of documentation & internal user guide;

  Operational Excellence
  • Fee handling: calculation of client (management) fees to pay;
  • Update of documentation & internal user guide;
  • Support in order validation: list of negative cash statements, investments of dividends, etc.

  Your Profile

  Are you the one we are looking for ?

  
  • You are currently studying in a field related to Economics in general or have some sort of Economic background;
  • You are fluent in French or Dutch with a good knowledge of English;
  • You have solid Microsoft Office skills, and you are eager to learn CRM tools as well as banking software;
  • You are available 4 or 5 business days per week. We offer flexible working hours: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm;
  • You are communicative, a team player, and have strong interpersonal skills;
  • Independence, responsibility, and rigorousness are characteristics we particularly value;
  • You are organized, flexible, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
