  What you’ll do :

  As a Software Quality Engineer specializing in Applied LLM for Quality Assurance, you will join our dynamic team within the SAP HANA Database & Analytics organization. By working on SAP Analytics Cloud, our award-winning product, you will contribute to the transformation of the SAP Cloud and participate in the development of a globally utilized advanced analytics solution.

  We offer a 6-month internship to a student (in their final year of studies) in the field of computer science engineering to work within our development team on Quality Assurance automation topics. This student will be under the responsibility of a manager and a technical coach.

  
  First, you’ll be onboarded within the team to understand the SAP Analytics Cloud solution, our development culture and delivery process, then as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you’ll:

  • Collaborating with software developers, quality engineers, and product experts in cross-functional scrum teams to understand and analyze feature requirements.
  • Leveraging LLM techniques to build and train models in order to enhance the product quality.
  • Learn and ramp up on the test framework used by the team to maintain and add tests, ensuring the overall test coverage and quality of the software.
  • Applying the trained models to generate test strategies and automate testing processes.
  • Researching and experimenting with new NLP and deep learning techniques to enhance QA practices and improve test automation, this can include generate automatic test to reproduce issues.

  What you bring :

  We’re looking for a team player who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious:

  • Candidates in last year of MS or Engineering degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Ability to explore and find original and innovative solutions as part of academic research applied in the field of software engineering.
  • Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning techniques, with experience working with LLM models.
  • Good knowledge of software development life cycle and Quality Assurance methodologies
  • Programming skills for UI development and skills with languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, test automation frameworks like Selenium, Jasmine, Cucumber
  • Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French (at least B2 level in both)

The SAP Analytics Cloud solution combines BI, augmented & predictive analytics, and planning capabilities into one cloud environment. As the analytics layer of SAP’s Business Technology Platform, it supports advanced analytics enterprise-wide.

  Based in Paris and working closely with different SAP Analytics Cloud development teams across the globe (Walldorf, Vancouver, Dublin, Shanghai, Bangalore, and others), our team is responsible for building and delivering high level front end components for SAP Analytics Cloud solution. We manage all phases of software development, from design to operational support, implementation, quality assurance and deployment.
