What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children program on a statewide basis
- Approve or deny requests for children's placement into Wisconsin
- Provide consultation/technical assistance to agency staff/supervisors
- Exercise individual initiative and independent judgment in child welfare practice
- Serve as a Deputy Compact Administrator for Wisconsin
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Professional or direct lived experience in child welfare or related human services field
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
- Experience delivering program services in accordance with regulations
- Experience supporting families with a "putting families first" philosophy
- Legally entitled to work in the United States
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Direct experience with diversity and equity efforts
- Experience working with data-driven performance monitoring
- Experience with Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children or the Interstate Compact for Juveniles
