What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Determine eligibility to rely on external reviewing IRBs based on institutional policies and procedures
- Review and manage requests from researchers to rely on an external IRB
- Review and manage requests from external institutions to rely on the GW IRB
- Maintain reliance documentation, files, and logs
- Assist with budget estimates when the GW IRB acts as the reviewing sIRB

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization
- 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience developing IRB policies and procedures
- Certified IRB Professional (CIP)
- Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience in IRB operations and/or sIRB/Reliance processes
- Ability to facilitate complex conversations about integrity and ethics
