What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with user departments, Information Services staff, and vendors to identify and resolve application system issues
- Develop specifications for software applications, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and installation
- Assist in the evaluation and testing of new software products for future implementation
- Modify and maintain existing software to improve the organization's information systems
- Prepare training materials and conduct training for users on system modifications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of one year of work experience in programming or related technical work
- Strong technical knowledge in application software and systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Commitment to maintaining quality assurance and safety standards
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Familiarity with quality improvement processes and project management
- Knowledge of healthcare information systems and technology trends
- Technical training in programming languages or software tools
- Participation in professional development activities, such as seminars
